I headed out to my pond (at home) this morning, a mug of Foothills Blend in one hand, koi food in the other, and my dog Moose at my heel. My frogs, Prince, Andrew, & Charlie were in their usual stations, but today two new, smaller frogs appeared! The tadpoles are mature. There may be one or two more tadpoles, but for now there are five frogs. Until the snakes find out. Oddly, I’ve not seen any garter snakes this summer. I’m hoping that this establishes the population, and I’ll have Green Frogs for years to come.

Maybe it’s been too cold for snakes… I haven’t had any hummers this year either. Plenty of mosquitos! I hope a few of your frogs find their way to my pond!
Humming birds? They’ve been in my garden. And I think the frogs are assisting on my mosquitos
