Strong north winds this week broke up the last of the ice floes, and then drove the ice into the shore where it melted beneath the glorious sun.
We are 5-10 degrees below average right now, but the very cold Lake Michigan has a lot to do with that. However, this string of sunny days is sure to help warm things up.
