Greetings, Coffee Lover!

First of all, a hearty welcome to those of you who signed up at the Flint Womens Expo.  We were down there providing samples of our Great Lakes Mornings coffee (which is sold throughout Michigan in Spartan stores, including VG’s, one of the main Expo sponsors).

As the high school sports teams begin pre-season practice, summer winds down up north.  The families pack up and head south, and things become a bit less hectic around the shop.  That is, until Labor Day!  We’ll see many of you over that weekend, and throughout the color season, but then all is still until the snow flies.

We have had a dynamite staff at our counter this summer, and one more funny story to share.  Jack was selling beans a few Saturdays ago, and a customer could not decide on a coffee, even with 100 to choose from.  Jack was really trying to help narrow the choices, but the customer would have none of it.  Finally, the customer asked, “Don’t you have any Starbucks coffee?”  Unfazed, and very politely, Jack responded, “You’ve GOT to be kidding!”
